Day 49 - Watch out for the drink bottle
I went to cycle class today and decided I would give it my all. Of course, I was rocking the bike everywhere and blazing along when I smacked my knee on my drink bottle. It really hurt so what did I do - nothing - left it there and smacked into it again. Other than having to bite down on my lip to stop from crying, I ripped it out of the holder and threw it on the ground. The cycle instructor (who wasn’t cycling because he had cracked ribs) picked it up and put it in front of the bike. When I had a chance I quickly took my foot out of the pedal and had a drink. Guess where I put it?? I am soooooo stooopid sometimes LOL - you guessed it, back in the holder where I went ahead and smacked into it again. I now have the biggest bruise and lump on my knee. Cycle class was still awesome though LMAO - It’s so much fun. Got to say though, one of our cool down songs is Souls on Satellite by Borne - it’s so relaxing. I’m thinking of getting their cd - it would be great to have on to relax to. Will need to listen to it first of course ![]()

Day 46 - Cycle class with Carmina Burana
Wow - that was so much fun LOL. We had just finished “climbing” the biggest hill you could possibly think of - only to “ride” down the other side with a Carmina Burana remix. For those who don’t know Carmina Burana, you can listen to the remix of it here - I was so scared of my legs locking and buckling we were peddling that fast LOL. I love music like that though - really gets the adrenaline pumping. Came out of the cycle room all wobbly. My husband was supposed to come with me - I’m glad he didn’t or else I would have had to carry him as well LOL. I hope the instructor keeps using the disc every Sunday - it was awesome.
New Look Blog
Well, what do you think? I have been wanting to change it since I started blogging and have found this little beauty. It’s a great theme and I owe a huge thanks to my good friend Leigh over at All For Women for all her help. I have no idea what I would do without her - obviously I’d be stuck with the same old blog I originally had and still scratching my head trying to work out how to use it LOL. Anyway, it’s almost time for me to go to gym - have got cycle class!!
Day 22 - A bit stiff
Do you know how hard it is for me to skip a cardio session? (no, I don’t suppose you do - silly question really). Well I didn’t go for my usual Wednesday morning run as I was a bit stiff in the legs and thought it was probably best that I give them a bit of rest (especially considering I had cycle class later on LOL). My legs are still in a state of shock and no doubt will be until Monday next week. They actually aren’t too bad if I keep them moving but it was a well deserved rest I think. Cycle class was good - not as good as it usually is but that is probably because my normal instructor wasn’t there. Which, by the way, I only found out last night that my husband knows the instructor (they went to school together). Small world hey? Anyway, my legs should feel a bit better tomorrow for my Thursday workout - should be good ![]()
