Winter Sun
Yes, we had winter sun yesterday. I rugged up and braved the cold so I can try to get a photo of my three boys together. Lets just say it was um . . . . . . . amusing LOL. After about an hour of jumping around, barking, bouncing, running, sniffing, laying down, getting up again, exploring, more sniffing, digging, scratching, tail wagging and rolling I managed to get them into the same area.
Once we were there, it took another half an hour trying to get them all to sit . . . . . .
Murphy (who has no patience at all) would not sit still. He would come and sit so nicely but as soon as I would call Spencer or Grifffin, he would get up as if to say “what about me, I’m right here remember!” and would then run off to fetch his ball to play catch LOL.

Spencer (who is much more placid but was also getting a bit fed up of coming and sitting and then having to wait for Murphy to stop bouncing and trying to get all the attention) ended up just walking off. I called him back, he turned and looked and kept walking. He is like a grumpy old man sometimes LOL.

Griffin, he didn’t have a care in the world - he was too busy exploring the backyard (again) and was happy to just run around sniffing and jumping and barking at the tractors over the back fence and tripping Murphy over while Murphy hunted for his ball to play catch.

I eventually threw all of Griffin’s puppy biscuits (that I always have in my pocket for training) on the ground and told them to fetch. It was like a frenzy of seagulls trying to get chips - I was nearly wetting myself trying to take the photos.
Anyway, these are the best I could get for the time being . . . . . Hope you enjoy them

Flickr Friday - Dance
Tappity tap tap tap …. it’s Flickr Friday and it’s all about Dance!
Kate from Picklebums has again come up with a great theme this week - in honor of her dancing princesses. It took me ages to do mine this week - I just couldn’t decide as there were so many good pictures. So I decided to narrow it down by picking out the black and white ones
If you want to join in the fun, post up your dance pics on your blog and then head over to Picklebums and add your name to Mr Linky

Thursday Thoughts
I haven’t blogged much this week as I have been pretty busy and have had a bit of bloggers block LOL. I was thinking earlier on what I can blog about today and decided I would go the opposite to what I did last Thursday and blog about things I dislike. There are a lot more things I like so the list probably won’t be as long as last week but will give it a go. I dislike …….
1. Spitters. I’m sorry but I really find it disgusting. I understand that sometimes one does need to spit but use a tissue or go to the bathroom, please don’t just spit on the sidewalk or on the street, it is revolting.
2. Snorters. You know what I mean, not the people who snort when they laugh (even I do that at times) but the ones who have a cold or just do it for the sake of it - that snorty inhale where you can hear the crap going through the back of the nose and into the throat (have I made you want to be sick yet?) I was at the post office yesterday and the lady behind me did it. It was gross.
3. Poo. Bahahaha - yeah, it’s funny *giggles* but I think it is horrible when you don’t clean up after yourself when you go to the toilet. If it lands sideways and leaves a mess, use the toilet brush!
4. Winter. You know, I don’t hate it and I do carry on a bit EVERY year but I think it is more the fact that I don’t like being cold. It can be freezing outside and even snowing but if I am warm and inside, then I don’t mind it. But I always need to go outside for something so it goes on my dislike list.
5. Yappy Dogs (quick Griffin, cover your eyes - don’t read this - remember mummy loves you). BUT why is it that when little dogs get all gruffy and start barking at their reflection or tractors or another dog 5 streets away that they don’t stop no matter how much you try to take their attention away. It’s great exercise doing star jumps and dancing around like a monkey but it does get tiring doing it continuously for 15 MINUTES!.
6. Stepping in chewy or finding that someone has put their chewy in the holder at gym. Use the bin people!! There is nothing worse than standing in it or taking your keys out and finding them all stuck together *grr*
7. Speaking of gym…. I really REALLY dislike it when people do not wipe up their sweat. It is gross and there is nothing more horrible than going to touch, lay down, sit, stand, kneel or whatever you need to do on a machine only to see a puddle or drops of sweat from the last person who used it. Please clean it up with your towel - thanks
8. Those automated voice recognising phone people/computers. Oh, they take the cake - you can’t even get angry, rant and rave or even swear at them because they just keep coming back with their sweet “I’m sorry, I didn’t quite catch that……..did you say yes or no” aaarrrgh!! LOL
You know what, the more I think about it I could probably go on for awhile with this list but will stop here for now.
Get over it
Probably the wrong time of the month to piss me off but I get sick and tired of smartarse comments or little digs at stuff that I do or don’t do. I just wish people would get over it and get on with more important things in their own life without commenting on mine. Seriously - get a farking life. So I go to gym as many times a day as I like, yeah - I practically live there - big deal, I eat clean - woopity doo, I don’t eat crap and I like eating my bland food, I don’t drink alcohol - I am in training ffs! Why would I bother going to the gym if I am going to eat junk food and drink alcohol all the time?
No, I’m not saying I am perfect - I am far from it but I don’t care if you want to stuff yourself stupid with milkshakes and donuts or eat junk all day - it’s your life - go for it! If that’s what you want to do then eat, drink and be merry. I don’t say anything to you because it’s your body, your life - if you are happy with it, then I am happy with it too
Why can’t people just be happy for you no matter what you do? Give you a pat on the back and say well done, you are doing great instead of saying *oooh, nooooo, she can’t eat that - it’s too fatty* or *what would Barbara think*
Just so we have got it straight - Barbara doesn’t give a toss. There, now you’ve been told and I feel better.

Thursday Thoughts
Yeah I changed the title - it was getting hard trying to think of people and/or things to thank - nothing much has happened over the last week and I just can’t think - you know how it is LOL
My Thursday Thoughts this week are about things I like. There are so many of them and I have come to the age where I don’t care anymore what anyone thinks. I like…….
1. My cap. I like to wear my cap to work - I am allowed to wear one, I don’t care if you think my hair looks nicer without a hat or I look more girly without one, my hair is growing, it gives me the shits and if I want to wear a hat to hide it all and keep it out of my face, I will.
2. To eat. You bet! I need to eat at a certain time EVERY DAY, that means if I can’t eat, I will hunt for food until I can. It isn’t funny - it’s part of my training and I need to eat every three hours - seriously!
3. High Fives. I love high fives and will wave my hand up at any given opportunity. I know you feel awkward doing them but its fun, the kids love it, I love it, so should you!
4. Tidy spaces. Having my cupboards and drawers in order is a must. Yes, I stack my cups in a certain way, I like everything to have it’s own spot and you bet I will go nuts and carry on like a crazy woman if they are out of order.
5. Toe socks - they are the best. I don’t care how daggy you think they are, they are comfortable and if I wear them with thongs, deal with it *hehe*
6. Colourful things. No, I don’t live in the 70’s but colour is fun, it brings fun and makes me happy.
7. Rainbows. I am always on the lookout for a rainbow - they are just beautiful. Yes, I have taken photos of rainbows before and you can laugh (well, my friends did anyway) but I don’t care - they are colourful and make me happy.
8. Scarves. Whoever invented these gets my vote. I used to hate the restriction of them but they are fast becoming a must have item along with my shoes and handbags. I need more scarves so if you are ever stuck for a present, there’s your hint LMAO
9. Thong Slippers. I know you don’t understand that they do actually work and keep my feet warm but they do! And yes, I do need them in different colours to match my pj’s LOL.
I could go on foever but am running out of time *sobs*. Would love to hear what sort of things you like?
Memory Loss
I have a really bad memory. I’ve had it for months, and it is only getting worse. If it wasn’t so funny, I’d be really worried LOL. I really am becoming a ditz *nods* and have come to the stage where I know what I want to say but it just doesn’t come out right if at all. Take today for instance. I was at my sisters picking at some of the finger food and hubby asked me what I was eating - “um, some of that green stuff and a baby onion”. Him: Green stuff? Me: Yep. Him: Celery? Me: Nope. Him: Lettuce? Me: Nope. Him: Capsicum? Me: Nope (getting annoyed now) - the green stuff like onions. You know, with the bumps on it - mind you I am giving him that you’re an idiot look like he should know what I mean. Five minutes later, I remembered - it was a pickle LOL!! I tell him all excitedly and he shakes his head. What is with that? He wanted to know and I told him. I am really finding it hard to name things and people at the moment. I was trying to explain to hubby and my brother what I do to remember peoples names and my explanation of it puzzled them. They couldn’t understand why I make it so hard when I thought it was easy. When I meet someone for the first time I immediately think of someone I know with the same name and if I don’t know anyone with that name, I think of a famous person. Then, when I see them again, I remember their names by associating them with the person I know and/or famous person. Well it works for me LOL. Okay, that was all very confusing to type and I have read it 10 times and I think it makes sense. Oh, I need a rest now LOL …….
Food - Weird or Normal?
With my diet the way it is, I often just make up meals as I go along. I could pick up a packet of whatever at the supermarket and never read the instructions, I use it another way or just make something up. I often put things in meals that you wouldn’t normally do. Or is it normal? I seem to think it is normal but am I normal? Gee, there’s a whole different topic altogether LOL. I suppose my question is what mixture of foods are weird or are they normal? Are you confused? I am LMAO
I often get the raised eyebrows and the question “you put what in it” with one eye bulging at me like I have done something inhumane LMAO. “Is that wrong” I ask back. I know, you should never respond to a question with a question but I do that alot too LOL.
Yes, I like to put mayonnaise in my toasted ham and tomato sandwich rather than cheese, I like cold beetroot with a thick soup or stew, I eat lemons, I cover my corn cob with black pepper and I’d probably put mayo on that too (just thought of that - must remember to try that next time LOL). I like oats with water - not milk (although I now have to eat them with milk because my dietitan said I needed more calcium in my diet etc etc - need strong bones), I substitute my pasta for raw spinach and cabbage and I like cold coffee thanks very much!
You know, I have often seen people eat cold pizza, have sausage rolls in rolls or a crisp/chip sandwich and I never say anthing to them, although I do secretly thing that is really weird - but when I look at what I sometimes eat, I think perhaps it isn’t weird or normal - it is just personal taste.
So after all that, I think I have answered my own question or am I as confused as I was when I started typing? Goes off scratching her head …………….
Thusday Thanks
I can’t believe it is already Thursday! The last week has gone so fast LOL
My Thursday Thanks this week go to….
JULIE - my dietitan, definitely for helping me get past the stubbon plateau that I was on with my eating & training. Without you, I would still be struggling with it all and probably be really miserable.
MY HUSBANDS WORK - for buying a massive block of land out in the country with the intention to build a huge depot that will need an Operations Manager to run it, hence, the perfect solution to our neverending search of where we are going to live and build our dream home
Oh, and for the lovely payrise he just received ……… I love shopping LOL
GRIFFIN - for being so darn cute, lovable, cuddly and for making me laugh every day

Results Finally!
Well it worked! After my appointment 5 weeks ago with the dietitian I have had some good results (finally). If you remember (thats is, if you read my last dietitian post) I went to see her as I had not had any changes in body fat/weight etc etc and it was all starting to really get to me. I’ve been training pretty hard over the last 5 weeks and had been really strict with my eating and not having any cheat foods - it has all paid off. I ended up losing 3.8kg and 3% body fat in 5 weeks. I was really REALLY happy with this. She has again re-jigged my eating plan for the next 5 weeks so I’m hoping I can see similar results when I go back to see her. Wish me luck because if it keeps going, then I will seriously think about competing in October ![]()
