Motivational Quotes
I like to read quotes - especially motivational ones - they just really make you think, reflect on your goals and can inspire you to achieve great things.
Here are just a few of my favourites:
- Bodybuilding is much like any other sport - to be successful, you must dedicate yourself 100% to your training, diet and mental approach - Arnold Schwarzenegger
- Suffer now and live the rest of your life a champion - Muhammad Ali
- Age has no barrier if you want to achieve or succeed - Me LOL
- It’s simple, if it jiggles, it’s fat - Arnold Schwarzenegger
- It’s a lack of faith that makes people afraid of meeting challenges, and I believed in myself - Muhammad Ali
- Never, never, never quit - Winston Churchill

Day 23 - A little bit of this & that
Training was a bit tough today - mostly on the legs but they are definitely getting better. It didn’t help much that the gym was really muggy so I seemed to get fatigued faster than usual. I still managed to get through my program - okay, well I might have winced a few times but I still did it LOL. Cardio training was great. By the evening my legs were starting to really relax. I thought I might mix the cardio up a bit tonight to try and stretch out my legs (in preparation for the sumo squats tomorrow LOL). So I hopped on the cross-trainer for 10 minutes (was also helping out my sister who trains with me each night), then 10 minutes on the stepper and finished it off with a good 25 minutes on the treadmill. I started at 9kmh and then pumped it out at 11kmh - it was a great run and by the end of it, my legs felt almost normal. So a little bit of this & that did wonders ![]()
