Watch out Popeye!
Well the appointment with my trainer went really well - I have dropped 3% body fat which was FANTASTIC but my diet still needed a bit of tweaking. I wrote down everything I had been eating/drinking over the last 3 weeks only to be told it wasn’t enough LOL. Yippee - I love food - give me more LOL. I need to increase my protein intake and have larger serves (which is obviously why I was lacking a little engery). We’ve added 2 protein shakes, replaced my afternoon snack of ricecakes with some tuna/eggs & spinach (watch out popeye LMAO) and added some raw almonds and yogurt in the morning. But of course, it can never be that easy - I will now training twice a day. I have a two day split which I will train in the mornings (Mon/Tue & Thur/Fri) with a cycle class on Wednesday & Sunday. But every afternoon I’ll be hitting the treadmill and running 3-5kms. Sounds like a good plan - just got to do it now. Fingers crossed my next appointment will show a huge change.
